World of Warcraft Gold Guide Tips

One of the most important aspects of World of Warcraft is having enough gold while playing the game; without it you will find yourself slowly progressing through the levels. In World of Warcraft, gold can be used for training, buying new weapons, armor, and sundries. In the beginning, most things for your character only cost copper or silver pieces, but as you gain levels, equipment and training becomes more costly. This is when you need gold.

Here are some tips to help you farm World of Warcraft Gold.

Tip 1) Professions: Signing up for a profession early in the game has its advantages. Choosing your profession is key to your success. I have found blacksmithing and mining as well as skinning to be very profitable professions. Some players make a ton of gold just by max leveling their profession and then making and selling items to lower level players for a premium cost.

Tip 2) Questing: Signup for quests as often as you can and complete them. This offers several ways to earn gold in the game. First of all, you will end up killing a lot of monsters along the way so drops are frequent as is money. Take everything you can carry. Secondly, when you complete the quest you surely will be paid for your hard work. Thirdly, you can sell or auction off all the items you picked up along the way. Be sure to bring the biggest bags you can afford and always upgrade for bigger bags when you can. You will also gain plenty of experience in which to level up your character.

Tip 3) Equipment: At the lower levels, 1-40, avoid buying expensive gear unless you are making a twink. Check out my article on twinks for more information there. Gear at the lower levels is expensive and you end up leveling and finding better items along the way. So just pickup drops or have other players enchant your stuff to make it more powerful. When you get into the higher levels, you will begin to see items that last a while and are formidable...those you want to keep or buy...or sell for profit!

Tip 4: Mobs: Certain types of mobs tend to have better drops than others, specifically humanoid mobs. Try to take down as many of these as you can when traveling the lands or on a quest.

Remember: Carry plenty of bags and pickup everything. When you get back to a town, sell everything you don't need and watch your money grow.

I agree that you can make a ton of gold from the professions - but the quickest way to make gold is the Auction House.

I explain how in my own wow gold making guide which is free to subscribers.
